Women’s groups are a welcoming place to explore and discuss concerns with other women in a nonjudgmental environment, to find the support they need to identify and change self defeating behaviors, as well as work on self esteem and confidence. Members are encouraged to support each other with their natural strengths and abilities.
The group is open to all women and is especially appropriate for those with problematic life histories. The group will have an emphasis on self care, setting healthy boundaries, depression, and anxiety. Other topics will be added as needed and will be specific to the women in the group.
Expectations and Schedule
Members must agree in advance to protect the confidentiality and identity of other members, including what is discussed in group. The Women’s Therapy Group meets weekly on Tuesdays from 4:30 – 6pm. Potential group members will initially meet one on one with the group facilitator/therapist to assess diagnosis, goals, and treatment plan.
The per-group session rate is $65. River City Clinic accepts third party payment from many insurance plans. One uncharged absence is available every calendar quarter, but other absences not cancelled in advanced will be charged at the regular rate.
