As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Psychologist, Psy. D., LP, LPCC Cheri focuses on helping individuals heal from a variety of life struggles from a holistic viewpoint that all parts of a person’s life is intertwined and effect each other. I believe that everyone has the chance to heal and live a life that is rewarding to them. A main point of interest is treating trauma, addiction, eating disorders and co-occurring disorders such as mood disorders, anxiety and trauma-based symptoms. In addition, her practice includes psychological evaluations encompassing ADHD testing, learning disabilities, achievement testing and personality testing to aid in diagnosing and treatment planning.

Cheri is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Psychologist, Psy. D., LP, LPCC, in Minnesota. She is a member of both the American Psychological Association and the Minnesota Psychological Association. She has previous experience working with individuals who experience addiction and mental health struggles, eating disorders, individuals in transition, grief and loss, divorce, domestic violence survivors and perpetrators. She has worked in integrated care with eating disorders and consulted with doctors, nurses and dieticians. In addition, she has experience working with CPS, probation and the court system in helping individuals heal and meet expectations from these different agencies.

Educational Background
Cheri received a M.A. and Psy.D. from the University of St. Thomas.

Cheri believes that healing is possible, and her role is help clients build insight, make connections and re-create meaning from past experiences, developing skills in order to facilitate growth and lead the lives that individuals deserve.
