Telemental Health Therapy

A convenient way for Minnesota patients to meet with a licensed therapist using a computer with camera, or smartphone, or tablet.

What is telemental health?

Telemental Health is simply mental health treatment using a HIPAA compliant, interactive video and audio platform that allows Minnesota based patients to meet for counseling with a therapist through a computer camera/smartphone or tablet. Once the initial in-person assessment appointment has been completed, the therapist and patient can determine whether therapy with telemental health would be of benefit.

How can telementalhealth help?

Therapy with telehealth can be useful when transportation is difficult, for example, for weather or medical reasons, or when you’re located a distance away from the office. Patients can also save time by eliminating travel time in going to therapy sessions. Whatever the reason, telemental health counseling can provide a convenient option for continuing or starting therapy sessions with one of our providers.

Professional Staff

Our team of trained and experienced Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Professional Clinical Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Drug and Alcohol Counselors provide Individual Counseling and Psychotherapy, Child Therapy, Couples and Marriage Counseling, and Family Counseling for people of all ages. We use a variety of approaches including Person Centered CBT, Supportive Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and more. Many of our therapists have an integrative approach using a combination of these and other treatments.

Telemental Health Therapy

Current research strongly suggest that telemental health care for psychotherapy improves patient satisfaction and is an effective alternative to conventional therapy.
